We only use FDA approved products such as Juvederm® and RHA®. The products we choose to use depends on your budget and the desired outcome. All our products are sourced from UK licensed pharmaceutical wholesalers .
The products we use are completely reversible and can be dissolved should you experience an unpleasant effect or result.

You may experience mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection sites. These effects are usually temporary and typically resolve within a few days.

Avoid touching or massaging the treated area for at least 24 hours.
Refrain from strenuous exercise and extreme heat (saunas/sunbeds) for 48 hours.
Stay upright for 4 hours following treatment and avoid sleeping on the treated area for the first night.
Apply a cool compress gently if you experience minor swelling.

Dermal filler injections should not be used:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
If you have had a previous allergic reaction to dermal fillers
If you have an ongoing infection, the breakout of acne or cold sores then it is best to reschedule treatment for when you are better.
If you are on certain medications such as blood thinning medication e.g. aspirin, warfarin or on steroids or Roaccutane® then is best to seek medical advice from your doctor before planning such treatments.

How long do fillers last? Results are temporary, with most hyaluronic acid fillers typically lasting between 6 to 18 months, depending on the area treated and individual metabolism.
Will I look "overfilled"? At Skin Essential Clinic, we prioritise a "less is more" philosophy, focusing on subtle restoration and harmony rather than excessive volume.
Is the treatment painful? Most modern fillers contain a local anaesthetic to enhance comfort. We can also apply a topical numbing cream prior to the procedure.
